A unique winter series, Architecture Talks, featuring conversations by internationally recognized professionals based in Culver City, opens on Sunday afternoon at 2 at the Exceptional Children’s Foundation, 86-9 W. Washington Blvd.

Award-winning architect Zoltan E. Pali, FAIA, founder and design principal of Studio Pali Fekete, will be the speaker.

In the program sponsored by the city’s Cultural Affairs Foundation, Mr. Pali will discuss his role in creating the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts, Beverly Hills.

The recently completed Wallis, as it is known, transformed a classic Spanish Mission revival U.S. Post Office, a landmark itself, into a modern state-of-the-art concert hall and performing space.

Proceeds from the ticket sales — $40 apiece and tax deductible – will be used to upgrade the Vets Auditorium for the purpose of making greater use of it as a performance venue.
