Can families of Farragut Elementary and their friends top last year’s turnout of 700 guests at the Artworks! extravaganza on Saturday from 11 to 4 on campus?

The grand event launches 11 days of major fundraising attractions for the Farragut community.

They start with the online auction that begins on Monday, followed by a pause for next Saturday evening’s Parent Gala at the Fresh Paint Art Gallery, and festivities don’t end until the online auction concludes Thursday, April 23.

There will be food trucks, free for all guests.

“Everyone should come,” says co-chair Rachel Schinderman, “and join in on all the performances, workshops, gift boutique and sparkle tattoos.”

Drawing on her own experience, Ms. Schinderman said that “parents will delight in seeing their children’s artwork.”

It is a basic part of Farragut’s fundraising program for its arts and technology enhancements, the auction attracted 1,000 e-shoppers last year.
