The story follows a Russian family living on an estate adjacent to a lake.

Daily lives of the 12 main characters are portrayed through comedy and tragedy, even though Chekhov intended for The Seagull to be a comedy. There are four acts – the first three taking place within a week and the fourth, two years later.

Student actors and crew members are enjoying the show because it is different from anything Blurred Vision Theatre Company has done before.
