On this joyous day of inauguration, it is clear to the normative half of America why voters chose the exciting, imaginative Mr. Trump over the drab old lady:

The screeching lack of maturity among Democrats makes them unfit to rule.

Brattish protestors have been playing in the streets after dark, randomly attacking people, calling the winners dirty names, mounting nasty threats as if they were 5-year-olds playing cowboys and Indians.

Sixty-seven brats from the House of Representatives have said they will boycott Mr. Trump’s inauguration because – well, just because, which was the strongest reason they could think up.

From the South Bay, newly elected U.S. Rep. Nanette Barragan, a Democrat, said she is going today, but strictly in protest mode.

Like all sensible women of a certain age, No, No Nanette, a 40-year-old lawyer,  will dress the part of a protestor, wearing a bright pink hat in the shape of a pussycat. This passes for class among Dems.

When she arrives at the inauguration, No, No will revert to little-girl mode.

“I am not going to stand (when everyone else does),” she maturely told the Daily Breeze.

“I am not going to clap.

“I am not going to cheer.

“I don’t see this as a celebration,” said Ms. Barragan, who wants to be a member of Congress when she grows up.

Although No, No’s garbled syntax tends to be sinful, she said, or seemed to say, she will be a voice for Trump opposition:

“I am not very shy to make sure that we stand up to the president-elect when it is necessary.”
