So distressing to report that last Wednesday’s latest Muslim terrorist attack, in London, was unavoidable.
No matter how much zeal and imagination President Trump brings, there is no way to intercept an ordinary vehicle from suddenly, fatally ploughing into ordinary unsuspecting people.
This is the latest genius of the ISIS-inspired worldwide war to wipe out infidels in a crazy-quilt pattern of fatal assaults anywhere on the globe at any time.
Muslim killer Khalid Masood rented a small Hyundai SUV to wipe out four London lives in a flash and inuring 29.
The cherry on Masood’s massacre cake was fatally stabbing an unarmed London cop near Parliament. London police officers do not carry guns.
Terror expert Paul Sperry noted that there has been a rash of Muslim attacks generated from rental vehicles, further complicating the already overwhelming and insoluble problems for law enforcement.
“The NYPD and other police have been checking with rental agencies, especially truck rental locations, for suspicious renters,” Mr. Sperry wrote recently.
He cites the following red flags:
- SUV or truck rentals
- A first-time renter
- Arabic surnames
- Religious head coverings/beards
- Nervous behavior
Mr. Sperry believes there are at least two ways to slow such strikes:
- Adding barriers between streets and walkways with heavy foot traffic. Without impediments, Masood gunned his SUV to 70 mph before killing.
- Blocker trucks can be deployed. After last December’s Muslim carnage that destroyed 12 Christmas shippers, the New York P.D. used hundreds of dump trucks to protect pedestrians on New Year’s Eve.
It matters not that the useless life of Masood was snuffed out.
What does matter is thinking up an effective way to block on-the-ground Muslim terrorists, which looks tougher than passing Trumpcare.
