Here is the latest local fallout over the Trump administration, featuring embittered critics of the new president.

On Wednesday evening, Karen Bass, Culver City’s Congressional representative, will host an anti-President Trump panel discussion.

Called “From Nixon to Trump: Perspectives on Presidential Accountability,” Marina Del Rey Middle School, 12500 Braddock Dr., will host the program.

From 6:30 to 8:30, Ms. Bass will moderate a small round table that will feature lower tier voices.

  • Defrocked lawyer John Dean is a 78-year-old scandal-scarred relic of the Nixon administration. He went to prison for being a central choreographer of the Watergate Hotel coverup that drove President Nixon from office 44 years ago. Since the mid-1970s he has become widely regarded as a turncoat for his post-Watergate conduct. Disgraced and unwelcome in his old circles, Mr. Dean fashioned a replacement career. For decades he has regularly hammered former Republican colleagues for dastardly behavior that has been widely associated with him. Mr. Dean has sought long missing recognition by calling for the impeachment of President George W. Bush and now President Trump.
  • Bass’s second guest is Malcolm W. Nance. He is a retired Naval officer whom only left-wing sites label as an expert on terrorism. Mr. Nance lined up with the radical left last month when he called for President Trump to be impeached.

After pounding Mr. Trump tomorrow evening for daring to compete for the White House last year and then for winning, Ms. Bass’s panelists  are expected to predict his ouster well before his first term ends in early 2021.
