Why Democrats Are Full of Real Beans

Daniel Lee, left, and rival Marcus Tiggs

Girls across the country who Feel the Bern have been forced to plunk down their barbells and belt out, ladylike, their disagreement with a papal-level pronouncement from the least attractive Secretary of State, pre-Hillary, Madeleine Albright.

Ms. Albright, who is not, said that every girl and non-man in America is obligated to declare gender loyalty and vote for Hilarious Clinton at every opportunity.

The Bernie Sanders’ girl-backers were and are outraged.

Which circles us back to Culver City.

Daniel Lee, an impressive City Council candidate, said the other day that in a perhaps intended encounter a year ago with City Councilperson Meghan Sahli Wells, she told him that no black ever has been elected to the Council. That revved his engine.

It is a blood oath for office-seeking and office-holding Democrats to pledge fealty to the I Am a Bean-Counter program. A minimum of twice daily, he or she must publicly declare:

“Diversity is my god, the first commandment of my politicized religion. If you disagree, you are a racist Republican.”

The issue is why Ms. Sahli Wells raised the topic.

In isolation, it is perfectly fine she mentioned the white-only history to Mr. Lee.

Except, as noted a moment ago, party loyalty is at stake. Dem bean-counters obsess about diversity, extravagantly and unceasingly proclaiming the transformative beauty and necessary acknowledgement of diversity.

I don’t fault Mr. Lee. I would have responded as he did, especially if I were as intellectually sharp as he is.

I don’t fault Ms. Sahli Wells. Who wants to diverge, so brazenly, from the people you have chosen for your most intimate circle?

To underscore a different opinion, Marcus Tiggs is a Council candidate who happens to be black. He identifies intellectually with voters, not racially.

He said at the Tellefson Park forum that it would be nice to be the first black Councilman in history, but his race is entirely unrelated to the reason he is running.

I’m sure for Ms Albright and Ms Clinton, their many accomplishments in international and national politics, would pale into insignificance once they learn that you don’t find them attractive. We ‘girls’ just want to hear that we’re pretty.

Ms. Beale, I don’t know you – but I wish I did. Thank you. Your comments are spot-on and just about the only reason I read this blog any longer.
