Sandy Segal, for whom Youth Health Center is named

The Friends of the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center are “Sailing Into the Future” at their annual fundraiser on Saturday, Feb. 25, at a private venue in Marina Del Rey.

For information on the location, contact Sarah Carpenter at 310.837.3734.

The Friends of the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center will honor the Exchange Club of Culver City for its decades of support for the Health Center.

The Club has been one of the Health Center’s largest contributors since it began in 1990.

The Exchange Club continues to make it possible to meet the goals of maintaining and improving the health of Culver City students.

The Exchange Club is known in the community for its donations to many other nonprofit organizations and activities.

Among them are the Culver-Palms YMCA, scholarships for graduating Culver City High School seniors, the Exchange Club Family Support Center, and numerous others.

The 5:30 event begins with appetizers, silent auction, no-host bar, and music by Ronnie Jayne.

Dinner follows with music, a program, and a live auction.  The cost is $100 per person prior to Feb. 14, or $110 at the door.

All proceeds go to the Sandy Segal Youth Health Center, on the campus of Culver City Middle School and High School.

The Health Center is operated by the Venice Family Clinic. It provides free quality health care for Culver City students.  A variety of services are offered including physicals, immunizations, vision and hearing tests, care for ongoing illnesses and conditions, prescription medications, and mental health counseling provided by the Los Angeles Child Development Center.
