They were the three happiest words heard in days,

“Coming home shortly,” Scott Wyant telegraphed at 7:35 this morning from Ronald Reagan Hospital on the UCLA.

Two days after being operated on for a brain tumor, the recent City Council candidate and current Planning Commissioner, Mr. Wyant exclaimed:

“No kidding. And I am alive!”

When he does return to his mid-town home with wife Leslie, there must be near-perfect quiet.

“No visitors, though,” Mr. Wyant said. “And prayers will be amazing.”
