Ah, that new website smell. There’s nothing quite like it on the internet. It has been a while since we have had the scent of freshly baked ones and zeros here at The Front Page, so we’re pleased to introduce you to our brand new look.

We’d tell that while our appearance is different, it’s still the same Page you have been turning to for news about Culver City and neighboring areas. But that wouldn’t be entirely accurate. Yes, you’ll still find Ari’s firebombing, my pontificating, the insightful commentary and reporting from our regular contributors, and your own letters. You also will find that the Page remains the open forum it always has been, providing a platform for a diversity of viewpoints. We remain an independent, hard-hitting source of news from Culver City and around the Greater L.A. area.

We have, however, made a few improvements.

  • A more welcoming homepages, with weather and a snapshot of national/international news.
  • An expanded calendar, which will serve as our new Community Update and Lowdown. As we settle into our new website and get up to speed, the new calendar will provide an excellent overview of noteworthy events around town.
  •  A commenting feature available for all articles as well as a new Twitter presence, both of which offer you more opportunities to participate in the conversation.

Of course, we do have other plans up our sleeves…but you will have to stay tuned to discover them. In the meantime, welcome to the new Front Page Online. We hope you’ll enjoy our new format and features as much as we do.
