Yes on Eriksson, Says Weissman

Mr. Eriksson

Permanent Absentee Voters are receiving their ballots, and the April 12 City Council election officially will begin.

Whether you vote by mail or wait until Election Day, April 12, to vote at the polls, I encourage you to join me in voting for Göran Eriksson.

Göran is a trusted friend. I know his dedication, intelligence and experience will be an asset on the City Council.

He been a financial watchdog, helping to make sure Culver City’s fiscal priorities are on target.

He has spearheaded efforts to attract and retain the kinds of businesses we want in our community.

He and his wife Britta have been longtime supporters of Culver City schools.

He has a long track record of supporting environmental technologies that both reduce costs and protect the planet.

In this election, every vote will count, and it will be critical to vote for the candidates that can keep our city on the right track.

I can assure you Göran is that person.

I hope you will join organizations like the Culver City Firefighters Assn. and the Culver City Chamber of Commerce in voting for him.

Mr. Weissman, vice mayor, who will be term-limited next  month, may be contacted at andrewweissman@anwlaw.com

If your residence has any kind of parking protection, beware. His policy is residential-permit-only-parking protections should be eliminated. That includes permit-only-parking protection in his own neighborhood. He supports business over residential. At the forum last night, his main concern was that is that the CC Green Buses should be coordinated with the Metro. We deserve better, but only can achieve it if we vote wisely.

Disclosure: My clients have filed a Brown-Act lawsuit against Weissman and others. It resides at the Court of Appeal. Weissman needlessly caused Culver City to spend over $140,000 to defend the action. My clients do not think much of Weissman’s choices, and this endorsement confirms their thinking.
