If Times Is Two-Faced, Both Should Be Red

The Los Angeles Times editorial board, no stranger to long-term intellectual blackouts, committed perhaps its most regrettable — and deliberate — blunder yesterday.

The Times’s petulant puerility, exceeding their usual juvenile behavior, has been on daily display since Nov. 9, the day after Donald Trump defeated the most dishonest woman in America public life.

Yesterday’s perhaps unprecedented full-page screed against President Trump was headlined “Our Dishonest President.” The byline should have read “By Our Dishonest Editorial Board.”

The Times’s kangaroo court now is in session.

Liberals never have been known for their intellectual rigor or honesty. Rarely, though, have these failings been so intentionally and prominently billboarded.

Performing with the conviction – and absence of originality – found in a ventriloquist’s dummy, the consistently odiferous Times performs on cue, reliably remembering “bow” and “wow” without a flaw.

Unembarrassed by its stunning lack of originality or insight, the Times proudly emulates a drunk staggering along a messy gutter in a pre-dawn stupor.

Arms flailing uncontrollably while their wobbly knees keep trying to kiss each other, the Times left its thinking device on the floor of the last bar it visited.

As liberals, they are not obligated to prove or remotely defend their sloppy and commonly untrue assertions.

The extremist Times’s hate and hysteria genes were trumpeted in every paragraph.

When pollution is outlawed, the Times will be required to seek a hideout – preferably on the far side of the moon.
