Mrs. Clinton

Welcome to a waterproof method for winning a presidential election when
you are rooting for the Democrat and against the Republican:

You may have read recently a heavily reported story that when Donald Trump was 16 years old, his father Fred was accused of racial bias in a real estate matter.

As you know, this indelibly stamps Mr. Trump the Younger, the GOP presidential candidate, as an ineradicable bigot—and as an increasingly likely loser in November.

Fast-backward to a few days before the four-decade-old Fred Trump story was rushed to public attention:

  • Fourteen thousand, nine-hundred of Hillary Clinton’s supposedly destroyed emails, exclusively about yoga and Chelsea’s wedding, were uncovered by the FBI. They revealed Hillary’s embarrassing pay-for-play policy as Secretary of State. It was so embarrassing for the Los Angeles Times’s candidate that the story was not reported.
  • Yesterday “State Department attorneys said the agency had discovered 30 emails among the records recovered from Hillary’s private server that discussed Benghazi. A judge asked the agency to speed up its review of the documents in preparation for release to Judicial Watch, the conservative-leaning group that filed the Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. The emails were included among the roughly 15,000 emails FBI agents said they pulled from Hillary’s server.” On the grounds this also would be too embarrassing for their White House candidate, the Times passed on the story. If you don’t report the news, it never happened, right?

That is how you win a presidential election.
