Not Even One Dent in Obama’s Armored Suit

Mr. Obama …
Mr. Obama …

Purely innocent thoughts are ambling through my mind on a languorous but political morning after Election Day:

Speaking of narcissistic presidents covered with thin, almost see-through, skin and outsized egos, only one mug comes to mind.

During the slightly rigged campaign of 2012, Mr. Obama’s shameless post-Benghazi motto was, “whatever it takes to get me re-elected.” This included repeatedly lying to the gently cooperative fake news media about his guilt and Hillary’s when four Americans avoidably were murdered.

Within hours of this horrid double abdication of duty by two ethics-free political hacks, Hillary was confessing her guilt to family. Nearby, the intensely cynical, untouchable president crassly was flying off to a campaign event, unaffected by the four deaths.

Had the truth of their liability been disclosed by the fake media – which becomes incurious and pussycat-tame when Democrats do wrong – Mr. Obama probably would not have been returned to office for four more years of hollow posturing and world-traveling.

Throughout the past four years and six months, the fake news media mechanical rabbits have mocked every Republican who has sought to expose at least Hillary’s naked lies about her role in Benghazi.

Later in the campaign, Mr. Obama the Braggart was on display again. Seeking to impress, he boasted into a hot mike that he had assured Vlady Putin that once he was safely re-elected, no longer beholden to voters, he would have “more flexibility” to do whatever Putin wanted him to do.

If there was a speck of criticism over either of these incidents from the obeisant fake newsies, they transcribed their mea culpas for the work-averse president in invisible ink. No one heard or read their words.

But the boys who smoked a weed called Vow of Silence during the eight see-no-evil Obama years, suddenly are aroused by the far superior President Trump.

The New York Times took a vow of racial ignorance when Mr. Obama was elected. The Times has been more hysterical than usual the past 4½ days, ever since Mr. Trump blamed sneaky Mr. Obama for wiretapping violations during the late campaign.

That is like accusing a 5-year-old of inhaling two scoops of ice cream when he pledged he would not swallow the second one.

The immature Times, which wants to be a comedian if it grows up, actually carried this odiously anti-Trump front-page headline yesterday:

Wiretapping Claims Puncture Veneer of Presidential Civility

“Fossil” fuels be darned.

After Mr. Obama wasted his two terms marring America’s reputation worldwide, the Times has signaled that the global supply of gall surely is running low.
