Running in My Dreams? What Does It Mean?

Dateline Dayton — Another mass shooting, this time in Oregon. What goes through a man’s mind that can allow him to kill innocent people?

A friend just took a self-defense class. Here is what she was told to do in that situation:

  1. Get out of the building if possible.
  2. Take cover if available.
  3. Otherwise, charge the shooter, yelling all the way.

Now for the important question: How did the man acquire so many weapons? It appears his mother was the source of all the guns. If so, she should be charged as an accessory to murder.

I wouldn’t want her as my nurse. You never know when she would use one of her many weapons on you.

This shooter did not appear to be a normal 26- year-old. As a nurse, his mother should have been the first to recognize that there was a problem, or possibly she was the problem. Having these weapons available, was just asking for trouble.

If I Can Dream

I never have analyzed my dreams. I have had dillies. Most involve work, visualizing places where I have worked. They are stressful situations. Is that why I am not as rested as I should be?

In some dreams, for an unknown reason, I am running. I can’t believe how real the places are, whether an office, a factory or outdoors.

Pleasant dreams. It would be nice to have one. Every time I start a good dream, something happens. I wake up and the dream does not return.

In today’s world, we need pleasant dreams. Hope yours are.
