After an Israeli Jew killed a Palestinian several weeks ago, Michael Goodwin of the New York Post predicted that soon the noun “extremists” would start showing up in headlines of stories about Israelis.

He was exquisitely on target.

Thank some Heavenly Power that their cannon-schlepping Islamic cousins are labeled more genteelly. They are consistently described, almost with affection, as “militants,” even those who made beheadings their career choice.

We non-Israelis logically are expected to thank Allah that, owing to the uncommon generosity of Yankee media-shapers, American reporters, quaking in their sandals, steadfastly refuse to label Sons of Mohammed as extremists.

We will concede that hundreds of sub-human Muslim hooligans, in the name of Allah,   murder hundreds or thousands  around the globe every day. But, hey, a guy can get bored between prayers.

Let us be clear that whackjobs like Prof. Bill McKibben, the screwball academic gospel singer for climate global change warming, is a militant. He is not believed to have killed anyone — except by laughter over his fake science projections.

This brings us to today’s banner case of left-wing looneyism – ESPN’s indefinite suspension of former baseball pitching star Curt Schilling from their announcer staff for hurting the tenderized feelings of Muslim murderers.

The supposedly controversial Schilling tweet:

“The math is staggering when you get to the true numbers:

“It’s said only 5-10% of Muslims are true extremists.

“In 1940, only 7% of Germans were Nazis. How’d that go?”

Only an extreme liberal would find those true assertions offensive?
