Dear Chris,

While driving this evening, I caught a brief segment of the John and Ken show when they were discussing the first death penalty execution of 2015, a Vietnam War combat Veteran.

When Ken was reading about the Veteran’s PTSD defense, John mockingly belted out that it's the “Vietnam vet excuse.”

Wow. What a disgusting and reprehensible statement John made. No excuses for his inexcusable insult of all Vietnam War Veterans.

News item: Georgia puts to death Vietnam War veteran in first U.S. execution of 2015
http://news.yahoo.com/georgia-set-carry-first-execution-u-2015-010233204.html

The executed Veteran, Andrew Brannan, 66, suffered from combat-related post-traumatic stress disorder. He was prone to flashbacks of the war, his attorneys said.

What an outrage from the show. John made a mockery of all Vietnam War Veterans who suffer from PTSD and other injuries with his “Vietnam vet excuse.”

More Vietnam War Veterans have committed suicide since the war than were killed in combat. There are more homeless Vietnam War Veterans in the USA than were killed in the war.

Nobody could be more insensitive than John was in his cruel assault on all Vietnam Veterans who were unwelcome on American soil when they returned home. John just rubbed more salt into this painful wound that never heals.

If that isn't bad enough, John's kids go to the wealthy, private Brentwood Prep School that has a sweetheart 21-acre land deal on VA property for a state-of-the art athletic stadium — on land deeded in 1888 to be permanently maintained as a national home for disabled, homeless Veterans.

The Brentwood School deal, along with eight other real estate deals on VA property with non-Veteran entities, was adjudicated in federal court as “unauthorized by law and therefore void.”

Rubbing more pain into this wound, Brentwood School with its team of high-paid, high-powered attorneys joined the VA to appeal the judgment.

The lengthy appeal only prolongs the misery and suffering of thousands of war-injured Veterans who belong housed and cared for on these sacred grounds

The appeal has been called “morally and legally” indefensible by some of our nation's top legal scholars.

Every day on average across the USA, 22 Veterans commit suicide.

As bad as the Brannan crime was — murdering a deputy police officer — the Vietnam War Veteran was executed.  One murder, one execution.

On the other hand, this murder in no way measures anywhere near the 22 Veterans who commit suicide every day.  Does anyone think John and Ken would consider this “newsworthy”?  Of course not. Nor does the rest of the ungrateful media elite.

And let's not forget Sylvester Stallone making hundreds of millions off his many “Rambo” movies about a fictionalized Vietnam War Veteran.

No surprise that Mr. Stallone, who is not a Veteran, sent his kids to Brentwood School as well as a host of other fat-cat elitists.

For John, who is not a Veteran, to blasphemously blow off is simply unforgivable.  The John and Ken Show must be canceled and removed from the public airwaves.

No “excuses!”

Men and women die or suffer irreparably defending the U.S. Constitution for John and Ken's right to freedom of the press.  They are undeserving of this sacrifice.
