Re: “U.N. Group ‘Awards’ Temple Mount to Muslims”

One week after a prominent anti-Semitic United Nations group spat into Jewish faces, again, the historically Jew-loathing Los Angeles Times cried “Me, too.”

The uber-leftist newspaper slovenly awakened this morning and, with immense reluctance, belatedly reported the news.

Resistant reporter Joshua Mitnick fought his better instincts through all 12 grudgingly relayed paragraphs.

Perhaps chewing on the remains of his left rear tire, he wrote the piece as if he were announcing his ex-wife had won a beauty contest.

Jew-hating Arab members of UNESCO – United Nations Educational, Scientific, Cultural Organization — last week pushed the 58-member group to overwhelmingly declare the Western Wall and Temple Mount in Jerusalem, the holiest sites in Judaism, as exclusively Muslim properties. An uproar streaked across Israel, naturally.

Mr. Mitnick aimed his nose at the clouds. He sniffed and wheeled away.

Jews have been dreadfully mistreated by the world for so many centuries that even well-meaning Christians and other non-Jews keep on walking. Jews are supposed to be treated that way, aren’t they? Only Jews notice and the world yawns when Arabs spew and spin their vile envy and hatred of Jews.

When Mr. Mitnick finally was ordered to submit a story to the Times’s news desk following UNESCO’s automatic confirmation of the vote two days ago, the wildly unenthusiastic reporter surrendered to his bored feelings.

Crafting his limp report in a strictly passive voice, Mr. Mitnick covered himself and his leftist newspaper with further shame, treating the Israel-shaking vote as if he were reporting on a sunrise for the 10,000th straight day.

No wonder Jews hate the Times as fervently as the Times hates them.
