Why Two Stories About One Flag?

Fellow Veterans and Friends of Veterans,

The same American flag that hung proudly on the front gates of the Los Angeles VA on Sunday in honor of Memorial Day weekend and ordered removed by VA bureaucrats, yesterday was attached to a pole and carried proudly in the Canoga Park Memorial Day Parade along with “Mr. Patriot,” Ted Hayes.

Why is it that when this flag was presented during the parade, thousands of proud Americans stood, applauded and saluted, but when the same flag was presented on the front gates of the Los Angeles VA, it was demeaned and ordered taken down?

For the record, the Los Angeles VA has a long history of disrespecting the American flag and retaliating against Veterans who defend this sacred land under our nation’s “Stars and Stripes.”

The Most Disgraceful VA in the Nation

After Veterans won a major victory in federal court adjudicating nine VA real estate deals to be “unauthorized by law and therefore void,” which reinforced why we had hung the American flag in distress — “That life and property are in extreme danger” — new VA Secretary Robert McDonald surrendered Veterans land back to the illegal occupants under the clever ruse of it being a “settlement agreement.”

Benedict Arnold would be proud of the Secretary because he failed at surrendering West Point’s sacred property during the American Revolution, while this West Point graduate was successful in surrendering Veterans’ sacred property during the Veterans Revolution.

VA Secretary McDonald’s bureaucrats have shamefully denied American military Veterans the right to proudly hang our American flag in honor of those Veterans who gave the ultimate sacrifice to our nation’s citizenry, denied us the right to be interviewed by a major news service about this illegal land use through a news reporter who is an Iraqi War Veteran, and denied the Region 9 Director of Vietnam Veterans of America (California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Colorado, Hawaii, Guam and the Philippines) the right to host a long-term Veteran Stand Down and “Welcome Home Reception Center” as an emergency triage to house and care for thousands of disabled and homeless Veterans.

On the other hand, if you need a safe place to store a fleet of 100 new cars, see VA Secretary McDonald. He will make you a deal that Satan would be proud of.

Now, more than ever, Veterans need to unify and fight this traitorous, domestic enemy and morally take back the National Veterans Home and bring our war-injured and homeless Veterans “Home.”

“I am concerned for the security of our great nation, not so much because of any threat from without, but because of the insidious forces working from within.” – Gen. Douglas MacArthur

God Bless America and the Veterans Revolution!
