You Won’t Need Many Clues

Cinch signs that Silly Season has reopened:

  • After the latest case of multiple murders by a gunman, America’s least informed citizens are renewing their call for stricter gun laws that will keep weapons out of the hands of responsible persons.

A Virginia television reporter was shot and killed on live television, along with her cameraman yesterday morning.  Our favorite hometown newspaper, locked in a death mode, buried the darned thing.

You know the crime was committed by a gilded member of one of America’s Untouchable Cultures because (drum roll):

  • The hyper-vigilant Los Angeles Times played the story of the grisly murders on page A-14. Seriously?  Page A-1 was reserved for a sidebar piece on the stunning crime by the Times’s ditzy television girl, Mary (Must I Have Insights?) McNamara. She hopes to live another 40 years, long enough to entertain her first serious thought. Reportedly, quite contrary Mary uses the only crayon computer extant.

Even with these sketchy clues, give yourself an A-plus if you guessed that the nutty killer was black and gay – two communities our favorite day-late hometown newspaper goes to regular extremes to shield from the daintiest, flimsiest criticism.

To the surprise of no normal American, killer Vester Flanagan was a hateful bigot/racist.  Vester spent his useless life complaining to either because he had  been born to a Democrat family or because he was black or because he was gay.

Land o’ Goshen, perish the thought, but a gay flag was found in Vester’s messy apartment.

I am waiting for liberals to call for a ban on the LGBT flag as this same dull crowd did after Dylan Roof in June.

A thousand one, a thousand two…
