A Home Run on Father’s Day

News

On the day after Father’s Day, I  was thinking:

When you marry a creative woman, you should expect a creative divorce.  A certain former Mrs. Noonan was sufficiently innovative to cover a whole stable of Mrs. Noonans.

One stipulation in the nearly 20-year-old divorce from the Mrs. Noonan who delivered most of my sons was so unusual as to be unknown before or since.

I presume the downtown Superior Court judge who signed off on this artistic  document — a legal hoodlum on loan from Weight Watchers using the name Richard (deleted)— has made other couples equally miserable.

Hayes Staging Rally on Saturday to Protest Illegals’ Invasion of Black Lives and Neighborhoods

News
From Ted Hayes
Recently, we have been hearing the sentiments of L.A. County Sheriff Leroy Baca concerning an upgrade in black-Latino/Hispanic (brown) tensions, a theory with which L.A. Police Dept. Chief William F. Bratton disagrees.

As you may know, it is the belief of Sheriff Baca that gangs are not the cause of cross ethno-racial violence but rather a deeper set of circumstances that are completely beyond the control and influence of black or “brown” gangsters. Instead, their activities are simply an outgrowth of a greater societal challenge.

Some Would Call Waters’ Republican Opponent a Celebrity, and Oh, Does He Believe?

News

If you have enough imagination to blow into Los Angeles one day as a faceless stranger and, out of a few cardboard boxes, invent the mythical honor of becoming the Most Celebrated, Most Influential Activist for the Homeless in America, you probably should not be discounted when a later political miracle is called for.

Ted Hayes, who became a Republican of all things in the aftermath of 9/11, has preserved enough chutzpah from his heyday in the 1980s and ‘90s to believe he can knock one of the Washington monuments off her cement perch.

Part II

You can be sure that Ted Hayes —who came to wide attention in the 1980s and ‘90s as a smart-talking advocate for the huge homeless population of Los Angeles — will order sunny side up on Tuesday’s Congressional election results.
