The Westside All-Star Baseball Classic will take place on Saturday at West Los Angeles College. Gates open at 12:30, and the game is at 3. Admission is $10.

The second annual classic will feature the best graduating senior baseball players from 20 high schools — from the CIF and the City sections. Culver City, Westchester, LACERS, Dorsey, Crenshaw, Loyola and Redondo Union will be represented.

Saturday’s renewal will be better than last year, says Carlos Rojas, one of the all-star organizers.

“This will be the last time we will be able to see some of these players,” he said, “before they go away to college.”
