Now that spring break is over,  Culver City High School teams prepare for the final weeks of league and tournament play.

Boys and girls track and field, boys and girls lacrosse, baseball, softball and volleyball will be in action.

The boys volleyball team, 6-7 overall and 3-2 in Ocean League, is home this afternoon against Beverly Hills at 3:15 in the Del Goodyear Gym. Tuesday they have a 3 o’clock date at El Segundo.

The girls softball team, 5-5, starts Ocean league play on the road today against Lawndale at 3, the starting time for all games.  Tuesday they are at Hawthorne. Next Thursday they are home against Santa Monica.

The 5-10 baseball team tries to improve its 1-1 league record this afternoon at El Segundo at 3:15. Saturday the Centaurs play a very good Sierra Canyon team in Chatsworth at 11.

The boys and girls track and field teams will travel to Santa Monica next Thursday at 3 for a meet that will probably determine the Ocean League dual meet championships.

The boys lacrosse team will play two 5 o’clock home games next week, on Wednesday against Downey and Friday against Beverly Hills.

In girls lacrosse, the 8-3 Centaurs will  play at Downey on Wednesday at 4 and at Beverly Hills on Friday at 4.
