Levin Is Brimming with Qualities a Board Member Needs

Letters to the EditorLetters

Next Tuesday, you will have the opportunity to pick three candidates from a pool of seven for three seats on the Culver City School Board.

Having recently had the honor of serving on this very Board for four years, I have a first-hand understanding about what type of person it takes to effectively lead our School District.

It is great when a long-serving, effective school volunteer takes the next step and runs for a position on the School Board.

Dr. Steve Levin is that person.

It is even greater when that volunteer is incredibly smart and knows how to use his intelligence to lead, to do what is always in the best interests of the students.

Dr. Levin is that person.

In addition to intelligence and leadership, a Board member must possess passion and the motivation to do what is best for the students.

Dr. Levin is that person.

On the Board, a member must be able to put his or her personal biases to rest and make decisions in the best interests of the students.

Dr. Levin is that person.

Finally, a Board member must be able to work and collaborate with others.

Dr. Levin is that person.

Please join me in voting for him next Tuesday.
