ADD37C7FE30A4222E2B8DCC6EDCD1394Isadore Hall Just 48 hours after announcing his campaign for Congress, state Sen. Isadore Hall already had amassed a war chest of well over $100,000.
He rocketed to the lead in the fundraising race, amassing funds at a nearly unprecedented pace.
“Having such a broad coalition of people coming together to put their trust in my message is an honor, also a responsibility,” said Mr. Hall.
“It’s a responsibility to never waver in the fight for reduced income inequality, the fight to combat poverty, and the fight to create better jobs for the middle class.”
Spokesman Dave Jacobson remarked on the significance of the number:
“One hundred thousand is seen as a key early fundraising threshold in any race, to demonstrate that a candidate is going to be a serious fundraiser.
“To blow past that threshold in just two days is incredibly rare.
“It shows that Sen. Hall’s message is resonating.”
