A page one headline yesterday told unsurprised readers that 78 percent of Hispanics in Los Angeles County, including illegal aliens, are struggling financially.

Fewer blacks are employed today than when Barack Obama came to office six years ago. So many young blacks can’t get a job that they could form their own country — of substantial size.

More Americans of multi-colors are on Gimme Welfare than at any time since the Garden of Eden.

And Now for the Question?

Here is an answer to why the Democrat party, led today by more racists than when the Klan rode freely, appeals to, shall we charitably say, the least aware voters in the land:

Because once you dig a rut, it is much more convenient to remain cuddled and coddled inside than to pursue an upgrade.

Why do Democrat leaders rail daily against wealthy Republicans? Because most Republicans they know are successful in their careers. The poster boy for Democrats, meanwhile, is a bedraggled, slump-shouldered, head-down fellow shuffling uncertainly toward who knows where. The slump-shouldered shlemiel cries he is a victim, and the Democrats he adores tell him Republicans are responsible for his daily failures.

Angry, vaguely informed and confused – those are the three main hallmarks of liberal voters.

Among Democrat leaders, white, black or otherwise, many, not all, are as racist as the Klan ever was. Identify the prominent Dem who is not.

Democrats-in-charge pitch compassion as their favorite fast ball. Modestly educated types described above fall every time for the “we will take care of you” line.

Liberal voters-believers and their leaders are in the midst of an 83-year-losing streak.

Democrats, overwhelmingly like well-trained show dogs, have been ringing the compassion bell since FDR’s first election in 1932.

When a Democrat politician promises the rubes the moon but switches it for the back of his hand, the loyalists say “thanks, that didn’t hurt much.”

They bow their heads and shlump away until the next reliable election.

The most serious deficiency in these rubes with thin educations is their lethal lack of ambition, followed by a severe absence of awareness beyond their front stoop.

Realizing this, professional Democrat politicians since ’32 have thought of their reliable voters as player pianos, same tunes in the same order every time.

Two days ago in Cleveland, President Obama began promoting the typically odious Obama idea of mandatory voting, a cool running mate with mandatory healthcare and mandatory obeisance to the commander-in-chief.

You go, girl.
