Lately we have been exploring reasons that the millions of least aware Americans – Can you name the president? Do you know what state you live in? –are loyally marching members of the Democrat party.

It was to this questionable crowd that The New York Times directed yesterday’s lead editorial, if you will excuse the extravagant hyperbole, “Keeping Palestinian Hopes Alive.”

Intellectually, the editorial rose to the level of discussing the circularity of the sun.

Envision this:

A fellow proposes to his girlfriend six times.

Each time she firmly says “no.”

After No. 6, The Times publishes an editorial sympathetic to the girl, condemning the young man for lack of generosity. It is headlined “Keeping Girlfriend’s Hopes Alive.”

Now consider that the girl is a whore. She openly takes men into her bed nightly, regardless of whether her boyfriend is around. The Times argues he should be more understanding because the girl has a major sex drive.

Silly, eh wot?

This is an exact analogy to history that The New York Times and other left-wing newspapers espouse:

• Yes, Palestinian leadership and most of the population are 100 percent Jew-hating terrorists.
•  Yes, the Palestinians have turned down every Israeli peace offer since 1948.

This is precisely how liberals think.

The lack of a marriage agreement, the lack of peace between Palestinian terrorists and Israeli democrats, according to left-wing reasoning, cannot possibly be blamed on the rejector.

Something intrinsically is wrong, liberals argue, with the rejected party.

Left-wing newspapers like The Times, the Los Angeles Times, the Washington Post and their leader, the Muslim sympathizer Barack Obama, have been viciously condemning Prime Minister Netanyahu for not surrendering more of his homeland to terrorist invaders.

“Just because this land is yours, you don’t need all of it,” Mr. Obama and other American liberals argue.

On the 1948 May day that Israel, with United Nations’ approval, declared statehood, six Arab armies invaded the Jewish state. The Arabs had their heads handed to them.

In 1947, the United Nations awarded the Arabs the larger section of what had been pre-state Palestine.

But the Arab terrorists said then and now they want all of the land, not part of it. And they want every Jew dead.

This is why thousands of latter-day “Palestinian” terrorists declare their hatred of Jews and vow to wipe them out.

Whereupon that thimble of wisdom President Obama turns to Israel and says, “Don’t be argumentative.  Be reasonable.”

Frankenstein Khomeini in Iran is merely the loudest Arab/Muslim voice next to Mr. Obama.

The 21 Arab states that entirely encircle Israel have been shooting at the Jews every day since for the last 67 years.

Isn’t it time Israelis deploy common sense and give up?  That is what The Times and the “world community” advise. These are the same voices that call terrorists “militants.” They don’t want to offend Muslims and become their next target.
