This article was written six years ago, but it shows how current U.S. Rep. Ted Lieu is following the path of retired Congressman Henry A. Waxman.

In 38 years, he never appropriated one dollar for one blanket for one homeless Veteran. Later, trying to paper over his record, he appropriated $20 million to rehab 55 rooms in a rat-invested 70-year old abandoned building to house formerly homeless Veterans.

Mr. Lieu and U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein have co-authored a counterfeit bill that will make all illegal real estate deals on VA property “legal.”

Los Angeles will remain our nation’s capital for homeless Veterans as more destitute Veterans will live and die at Skid Row and in back alleys.
