"These students have been collaborating with students in our art, film and dance departments to find a creative expression for their own art,” said Executive Director Tony Spano. “The results are certainly ‘beyond the abstract.’” 

     Senior Shawn Harris has been a principal member of the Academy’s Pink Elephant Music Company since his first day at Culver High as a freshman. Mr. Harris has been co-directing the show with Mr. Spano. "This show provides a stage for the extraordinary musician’s mind,” he said, “and the Pink Elephant Music Company will execute ‘Beyond the Abstract’ beautifully."
