Westfield Fox Hills, the Australian owners of the region’s best-known shopping mall, has contributed more than 400 new uniforms to the entire Culver City National Little League.
Each team will begin its season — officially a week from Saturday — with new jerseys featuring the Westfield logo stitched on the sleeve.
This is the first time in many years that the uniforms have been replaced.
“We can’t thank Westfield enough for their commitment to the kids,” said Chip Netzel, the Director of Fundraising for the Little League.
“The generosity of sponsors like Westfield makes our league one of the best in the district.”
Mr. Netzel said the boys and girls were excited with their new outfits.
The little leaguers will be wearing uniforms similar to their Major League heroes this year when the Culver City League opens its 53rd season on Saturday, Feb. 23, at 10 a.m.

The Culver City National Little League is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) charitable organization providing the youth of the city with a chance to participate in organized baseball and softball leagues with instructional coaches and good sportsmanship conduct.
