A Time for Ironic Laughter, Starring Mayor of New York

All you need to know about New York City’s radical leftist mayor is that he married a lesbian.

She swore she had reformed herself and sworn off women.

A pity for New Yorkers.

Philosophically, Chirlane and Bill de Blasio would be more comfortable had they parachuted into old dead Mao’s scarlet China.

Mr. de Blasio’s wife is black, germane only because the loud, crude, scarily insecure mayor – who hates cops – announced that he had warned his black son to be wary of NYPD guys. They are racists, daddy declared in stentorian tones.

He encouraged the assassination of two young cops last month, and then courageously protested, “Oh, no, not me.”

He lined up with the racist protesters, then ran away and hid when the heat shined on him.

When hundreds, possibly thousands of cops, turned their backs on their traitor boss at the funeral of the first cop, Billy Boy was outraged.

When thousands of officers turned their backs on him at yesterday’s funeral for the second cop, Billy Boy demonstrated he had imbibed a worthy lesson. He kept his nearly uncontrollable lips locked.

He figuratively sleeps with the Rev. Al Sharpton. Thieves, even dumb ones, know where they can hide.

Both Mayor deBlasio and his busybody wife have fomented separate scandals since he took office one cartoonish year ago.

In his effort to match Mr. Obama embarrassment for embarrassment, someone soon will produce deBlasio toilet paper to co-market with Obama toilet paper.

The single surviving question:

Will he or President Obama be laughed out of office first?  They are engaging in a test of wills over who can govern more shallowly.
