Time to Modernize on Election Day – Mail-in Ballots Only

Letters to the EditorLetters

By Madeline Ehrlich

After working at the polls on Election Day from 6 in the morning until 9 in the evening, I am ready to go to mail-in ballots.

Much to our surprise, we had a steady run of voters.

At times, voters had to wait for an unoccupied voting booth even though we had seven.

Lots of provisional ballots.

Too much wasted paper.

Nice that the printing company where the polling place was got us dinner because none of us could leave.

I did meet some nice people.

However it is time to move forward.
