Will V Stand for Victory?

Committee members deserve a big thank you for their conscientious collaboration. Contrary to the dire warning that the opposition has been voicing at recent political forums, waving a sealed package as a symbol of the proposed Charter’s mysterious secrecy, the Committee has diligently made the document available for everyone to review.
Information is accessible on the city’s website and the Committee’s website www.yesonv.cc.  Vice Mayor Gary Silbiger, the sole candidate with experience as a Council member under the present City Charter, has consistently vocalized his firm support for the revised City Charter.
On Tuesday, April 11, voters will have an extraordinary, historic opportunity to bring Culver City into the twenty-first century with a Charter designed to hold the city accountable to the residents in the form of checks and balances, ethics and equality.
If you’re in doubt, go to these websites to get answers to your questions.  An informed voter is an empowered voter.
