One-to-One

Robert EbsenOP-ED

What do I want to learn this week about my new iMac computer?

I’ve got to decide by 2 o’clock this afternoon. That’s when I have my hour-long “One-to-One” appointment at the Apple Store.

Last week I had several questions saved up about my computer.

They were all answered at last week’s first one-to-one session.

I learned how to backspace without a backspace key and how to see the amount of memory in each file, among other things.

Today I think I’ll ask to see a demonstration of iMovie techniques.

If I go for a meeting once each week – which is the maximum allowed under the $99 plan – I’ll have paid about $2 for each weekly hour-long session.

I’m sure there is plenty to learn – more than enough to fill up the 52 weekly sessions.

What if there were weekly one-hour-long sessions for life? And what if those cost about $2 per session.

Would I go?

Would you go?

Surely, there’s more than enough to learn about life than could be learned in 52 weekly sessions.

What would be your choice for the first 3 topics to learn about?

Here are my choices (at this moment in time):

1. How to better organize my time for daily housework, hobbies, and exercise

2. How to get better sleep

3. Something about sex – that’s better not stated in this essay

I’d enjoy reading about your 3 choices at robertebsen@hotmail.com
