Stressed or Not – Is That the Question?

Robert EbsenOP-ED

Did you ever wish you had more hours in the day?

Why?

I wish I did for several reasons — these are the reasons I can now think of.

1.  So I could run to the gym to swim and exercise instead of sitting for hours on this computer.

2.  So I could finish working on my pop-up cards for the 37 people I told that I would send them one.

3.  So that I could do a few more hours of online genealogy research today on the families I am working on.

4.  So that I could finish cleaning the house (I did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen.  Now come the beds and the computer room table.)

5.  So that I could take a luxurious nap, without having to worry that I wouldn't have time to do parts of the other19 or so things I wanted to do today.

Am I stressed out?

No. I don't think so.

Wait — I'll take my blood pressure now — 121/69  — Nope, I'm definitely not stressed.

So, then, if I am not stressed, why am I complaining?

Maybe I'm not complaining.  I just need someone to talk to. Thanks for listening.

Whew. I feel much better now.
