Enjoy the sights, sounds and flavors of the Culver City Sister City Committee at a Centennial Celebration, Sunday, June 11, from 1 to 4, at the Vets Auditorium..

Paying tribute to the sister cities in Japan, Mexico, Canada, Korea and a new friendship city in Italy, the family- friendly cultural event will feature the booming El Marino Rainbow Taiko drummers, the strum of the Mariachi Sol de Mexico, exotic Korean Classical Music and Dance Company dancers and the ballads of Sicily and Canada sung by Tony Soraci and Ronnie Jayne.

Attendees will taste traditional foods from Tentenyu Japanese cuisine, Casa Sanchez Mexican Restaurant, Sorrento Italian Market, Hanjip Korean and Santa Maria BBQ.

Admission for the entertainment, five food samples and one beverage is $10 for adults and $5 for children, ages 10 and under.

There will be a silent auction of baskets representing the sister cities.

“The Sister City Committee has assembled vibrant cultural performances and exceptional international cuisine all in one afternoon,” said event chairperson Al Schreibman.
