You Wanna Be Tall – Okay, You Are Tall — at 5-2

As one of the 98 percent of Americans who is straight, I was saddened more than surprised by last Friday’s silly ruling that same-sex marriage is the equivalent of marriage.

This is like assuring a dog he is as tall as a giraffe.

The hound will feel taller.

Feelings are the central goal of leftists who embrace victimhood the way normal people embrace fulfillment.

Feelings, dear hearts, are the entire reason hate-fueled left-wingers were put on this earth by their god, who is known, naturally, as It, so as not to offend real men, real women.

I digress.

Elsewhere on this page, my colleague Tom Elias (“Why the GOP Insists on Being No. 2, Not No. 1”) makes a splendid point about why Democrats, virtually unchallenged, are running California instead of normal persons.

Insightfully, he brilliantly observes: “To win in most parts of California, (the GOP) will have to become more tolerant of undocumented immigrants and same-sex marriage, more environmentally conscious and less hardline in opposing changes to the Prop. 13 property tax law.”

Dountless, he is correct.

To say it differently, if Republicans will just abandon their moral principles, if they will dive into the sludge alongside illegal aliens and the vast chorus of imaginary sexist-racist victims of left-wing hatefulness, if they will surrender to the biggest scam of the century, the lie of climate warming change, then by thunder, they, too, can dance with moral shut-ins and run our state.

They can replace the envious boys and girls of the left who lead small and bitter lives, the Democrats who enact controlling regulations seeking to draw normal people into their sphere to share their misery and their anger.
