Dateline Long Beach – On Saturday and Sunday, the Long Beach Bayou Festival will be staged at Rainbow Lagoon Park on East. Shoreline Drive.

The all-day celebration will run from 11 to 9 on Saturday and 11 to 7:30 on Sunday.

Ten thousand people are expected to attend this extravaganza. Radio Station KLOS, 95.5 (Breakfast with the Beatles) and LA Talk Radio have invited the Festival’s youngest entertainer, Alexis Shafira, to promote and sing live on air.

The Long Beach Bayou Festival provides food, live entertainment, displays, games, and exhibits. There will be two adult stages, and the festival will highlight the Children’s Stage.

Festival tickets are $25 online, $30 at the door, and kids under 12 are free with the purchase of an adult ticket.

Ms. Shafira, merely 11 years old, is electrifying. From the beginning of her life, she has spread love through music.

“Everywhere I went,” said the Cerritos native, “my goal was to make others feel better by singing. That made me feel better.”

Her fans say the prodigy was born to sing. She first went on stage at seven years old. Since her first performance, she has taken her talents and gifts to new heights, performing for the likes of Toni Braxton; Breakfast With The Beatles (95.5 KLOS -Live On Air); Five Minutes of Fame Winner for KJLH 102.3; Opening Act for groups (112, Next, Dru Hill, Silk, H-Town, and Frankie J) at the Throwback Sizzling Jam; the Los Angeles Lakers; Los Angeles Sparks; the Los Angeles Clippers; Long Beach Toyota Grand Prix Celebrity Race (2016); Los Angeles Kings (Sunset Sip Charity Event); and has raised money and volunteered for four years at Miller’s Children’s Hospital of Long Beach.
