There Is Only One Reason to Honor Obama

In the corrupt state of Illinois, where young black life tragically is cheaper than the worst Middle East watering hole, an under-accomplished senator – no, not B. Obama – produced a novel idea the other day:

Establishing a state holiday honoring former President Obama.

My suggestion: Choose April Fool’s Day.

Honoring a slovenly president proves state Rep. Andy Thapedi, a Chicago Democrat, owns a sense of humor.

The early outlook is grim.

www.Politico.com reported yesterday that Mr. Thapedi’s nervy legislation was greeted with showers of ashes:

Mr. Thapedi “was bombarded with a stream of death threats, ‘venomous’ emails and phone calls in the days after he introduced legislation.”

Celebrating Mr. Obama for being the first black president obviously is valid. Beyond that, remember Democrats, Zero Coke was named for Mr. Obama’s countless achievements and his amazing accumulation of honest statements.

Some bright light in the audience is sure to mention the economic disaster that is Obamacare.

Mr. Obama is to integrity what Nancy Pelosi is to facelifts.

He had as much to do with composing and passing Obamacare as my sister Con did with writing and passing the Con-stitution.

Celebrating Mr. Obama as the first black president is anathema to Democrats and the former president, all of whom asked what “anathema” means.

Keep in mind that Chicago, led by a lifeless Democrat mayor, is where marginally educated black kids kill each other every day as if they were pesky kitchen flies on a steamy summer afternoon.

Here is how racist Democrats routinely are.

Politico further reported:

Even if a full-fledged state holiday doesn’t happen anytime soon in Illinois, lawmakers have alternatives in the pipeline: Bills to name two different highways after the president and a proposal to have an ‘Obama Day’ without the day off from work. Most prominently, the Obama presidential library and museum is slotted for a South Side locale, amid criticism that the cost could climb to an eye-popping $1.5 billion for building and endowment. That’s not all: Chicago Mayor Rahm Emanuel proposed naming a new elite Chicago high school after Obama in 2014, but the idea was torpedoed amid anger that the school was to be on the city’s mostly white North Side.”

Since the Democrat party has suffered for decades from deadly racist obsessions, isn’t it ironic that the only reason to honor Mr. Obama is his remarkable foresight in actually choosing to be born black?
