West Los Angeles College is offering summer programs for children and youth this summer including a new Career Discovery Academy that is free.

It will be directed at students entering grades 8 through 12.

They should plan to attend a brief orientation session on Tuesday evening. See www.WLAC.edu/High-School/Index.aspx.

For graduating high school seniors and those who have left high school in the last year or two, West offers a Summer Bridge program to facilitate a successful transition into college.

For the Kindergarten through eighth grade set, fee-based classes and camps continue to be offered through Westside Extension – including art, Spanish, robotics and engineering, coding and video game design, seven different sports, cheerleading and dance, aquatics, medicine, tools for school, and MEGA Camp (academics plus field trips).
